A fairly good place to spread vets’ message

Thousands of people from across Clackamas County flocked to Canby on Tuesday for the opening of the 118th Clackamas County Fair. From excited youth with their 4-H animals and exhibits to cowgirl shows, ventriloquists and musicians, activities on the first day of the fair didn’t disappoint. But one of the biggest highlights of any county fair is the rows of food stands you’ll find lining the walkways of the fairgrounds, and among those stands Tuesday was one whose mission is to improve the lives of Lake Oswego veterans and community members at large.
