Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs signs historic agreement for veteran services with Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation

The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs (ODVA) and Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Oregon State Capitol last week that will enable the tribal government to establish its first-ever tribal veteran service office.

Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs increases lending limit for veteran home loans

The Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs Home Loan Program has an increased limit for veteran home loans. Starting this year, ODVA will accept loan applications up to a maximum of $484,350, an increase from $453,100 in 2018.

Oregon Wounded Warrior parking placard coming January 2019

Starting this January, eligible veterans will be able to obtain a new Oregon Wounded Warrior parking placard. The new placard is the result of Senate Bill 1506 and gives placard holders certain parking benefits.

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD)'s Veterans’ and War Memorials Grant Program was created and established to provide funding assistance to local governments for the construction and restoration of veterans’ and war memorials.
